Landscape/Irrigation Update
(January 30) – The Northern Palm Beach County Improvement District provides our area’s water management, including:
- Storm water management
- Maintenance of canals, waterways and lakes
- Water quality monitoring, environmental mitigation and management
- Hurricane response and emergency operations
The NPBCID has just informed Magnolia Bay Gardens that our lake levels (right) are 1.5-2 feet below normal. The District has placed limits on irrigation until further notice, which means:
- Turf weed treatments will be limited to targeted spots in the fronts and sides of homes.
- Fertilizing treatments are postponed to avoid burning plants.
- Sod replacements are postponed.
Please help by watering your property during dry weather, especially the first two weeks for any new plantings.
